Information Pack
During the course delegates receive a full package
of information to help them to train and make assessments. Information
includes:-
- Copies of all presentations used in the course
- Manufacturer's leaflets for a wide range of equipment beyond
even those seen on the course
- A variety of assessment forms that have been used in real world
situations
- A wide range of handouts and pieces of information in support
of specific sessions
Certificates
All delegates receive a certificate of attendance for the course.
Two further certificates are available to delegates.
Competent Trainer Certificate
There simply isn't enough time to make a proper test of delegates'
competence as trainers in a five day course. For those delegates
who would like a Certificate of Competence as a Trainer we offer
a separate test.
Competent Risk Assessor Certificate
Throughout the whole course we talk about the importance of risk
assessment. After the course delegates who would like to have
a Certificate of Competence as a Risk Assessor may submit a piece
of work for examination.
Both tests are carried out in your work place. There are no additional
visits to the training centre. Full details can be provided on request.
Regulations and Standards
The course is fully in accordance with the Manual Handling Operations
Regulations (1992) as amended 2002. The course shows you how to
fully comply with the requirements of the regulations
The course addresses the demands of the various acts and regulations
that have to be considered in creating a safe system of care. |
